Back to memory lane : 19 June 2011

It was Father's Day and I have to work because Kim Gary Restaurant was having promotion. With the Father's Day voucher, the total bill of maximum 6 people will have 50% discount.

Everyone reached there before 10:30am and had our meal before 11am. People already started to queue when we were having our meal. At sharp 11am, the business started and everyone became busy. I was phobia to hot plate because whenever I deliver the food, several hot plates waiting for me.


We broke the record because the queue reached Roti Boy. Last time the longest queue was shorter than this time for almost a distance of a pole with Roti Boy. Manager even went in kitchen to help them. And I broke plates for twice. Once was in front of the bar and all the customers in the restaurant looked at me.

We were almost half dead when finished our work at 11:30pm. More than 12 hours of work. And we still have to change all the menu, preparing for the new dishes that started on Monday. Almost everyone went back at 12:30am and back to work on the next day. Tired.
